Promote Adventist chaplaincies throughout the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

The ACM mission for NAD has four elements:

    1. To recruit qualified Adventist pastors as chaplains on college and university campuses, in community agencies, correctional institutions, health care facilities, military forces and the work place.

    1. To endorse and certify capable, competent and caring Adventist clergy as chaplains.  All chaplains are first pastors, though not all pastors are called to be chaplains.

    1. To support and sustain Adventist chaplains in their ministries.

  1. To encourage mutual contact, inclusion and involvement between Adventist chaplains and local congregations and conferences. Also, Adventist chaplains are expected to actively engage in reaching out to the unreached with the Gospel and inviting them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
